Learn how to value the people around you

Learn how to value the people around you.
In a blink of an eye,
what you see may be gone forever.
You may not force them to stay
but at least give them reasons not to go.

This is the note in my IM communicator today.

I agree! It’s true! Sometimes, (or most of the time) we usually didn’t know what we have until we already lost them.

“Andyan na man yan lagi e”,
taken for granted I think is the right word.

We usually blame or regret ourselves at the end.

“Nasa huli ang pag-sisisi.” Right! You can never regret something that not yet lost to you or not yet done. Why do you feel sorry when you haven’t done wrong yet? Is there an advance apology?

It’s true, that what you see or have now may be gone forever in a blink of an eye. So value all the people you love, all the people that are important to you. Give them a part of your time, a part of your love, care and attention.

Ang drama e no?...

By the way,
today is the 3rd yr Death Anniversary of my father. [-- _]

Ang Sulat ni Berting, Ang Reply ni Bob Ong, at Ang Kaepalan Ko

- ANG SULAT-

Dear Mr. Bob Ong,

Roses? Kalachuchi? Chocnut at sampaguita?
In lab na po ako. Ano po ang gagawin ko? Is she the one.

Lubos na gumagalang,
-         Berting -

-

- ANG REPLY -

Dear Berting,

Ano ba pare? Ano'ng era ka ba pinanganak?

(wow!, ouch ba… saan galing ang hopia at santan?..pati iun alam nya?…hehe)

Pero don't worry. It's not too late.
Mga medyo more than your usual regalong panligaw:

(o yan may pag-asa pa pala… utak at creativity na lang ang natitirang pag-asa… kaya dapat galingan mo… in fairness may utak!…hehe [^^,] )

Tapos pabuksan mo in front of everyone. Later during the day, pag tinanong niya kung bakit Century Tuna ang binigay mo, iikot mo yung lata at ituro mo yung sign na "Omega 8." Pag
tinanong niya kung ano yung Omega 8, sabihin mo: "because you're good
for my heart."

Tapos, sa bawat hanger, isulat mo: "I miss hanging out with you."

Tapos bilugan mo yung "with Omega 8." Hindi na siya magtatanong kung bakit.

(batukan mo na lang pag nagtanong pa…[^^,] )

5. Bigyan mo ng ice cream cone. Dapat cone lang at walang ice cream.

my life"...

Bagay tayo. Bagay!"

(siguro wag na to, nagamit na ni John LLoyd to sa Greenwich commercial eh…hehe [^^,] )

Handang tumulong lagi,

-Bob Ong-

o kayo… may ibang banat ba dyan??? baka makatulong kayo kay Berting….hehe

tulungan natin…[^^,]

Twilight Saga: New moon posters are here

Hey, twilight'ers! or twilight fans or what so ever...[^^,]

I am not that fanatic with Twilight, but I like Twilight. I like the characters, the simplicity, the plot and the story itself.

FYI: About the author of Twilight. “Stephenie Meyer”

Stephenie Meyer graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in English. She lives with her husband and three young sons in Phoenix, Arizona. After the publication of her first novel, Twilight, booksellers chose Stephenie Meyer as one of the "most promising new authors of 2005" (Publishers Weekly).

I found out that she didn't set out to write a novel or begin a career as an author.

She was just writing down a story for her personal enjoyment, letting it grow as it would and lead where it would. No pressure, just fun. Amazing!

I just want to share these pictures to you.

New moon posters are here!

Kris Allen is American Idol Season 8 big winner

i knew it...haha [^^,]
yehey!...

( 10:30 a.m.) LOS ANGELES – Kris Allen's smooth vocals and boy-next-door image propelled him to "American Idol" victory Wednesday, turning the theatrical powerhouse Adam Lambert into the most unlikely of also-rans.

"I'm sorry, I don't even know what to feel right now. This is crazy," said a stunned Allen, 23, of Conway, Ark.

As host Ryan Seacrest said in announcing the result of the viewer vote, "The underdog, the dark horse, comes back and wins the nation over."

Lambert's commanding vocal range and stage presence — and the judges' adoration of him — at times turned "Idol" into "The Adam Lambert Show," with the other contestants mere guests. But it turned out that "Idol" viewers could embrace a gifted performer like Lambert, one who sported black nail polish and bold self-assurance, only to a point.

Simon Cowell tipped his hat to both contestants Wednesday.

"To both of you, and I don't normally mean this, I thought you were both brilliant. .... The future's all yours," the judge said.

Before the results were announced, Lambert and Allen had a moment of musical camaraderie: They joined together with Queen on the rock anthem "We Are the Champions."

"Adam did win. So did Kris. Nobody lost tonight. These are two champions," said Paul Stanley from Kiss backstage.

The outcome echoed last year's contest, when Cowell all but crowned David Archuleta after the performance finale — but the victory went to David Cook.

Lambert's triumph was never inevitable. When Allen and Lambert were declared the finalists last week, just 1 million viewer votes separated the pair out of 88 million cast.

Allen bloomed during the season, gaining more assurance onstage and winning viewers over with his smooth, heartfelt vocals, modest demeanor and well-scrubbed good looks.

There was also the Danny Gokey factor. Gokey made it to the top three before he fell out of the contest, leaving his supporters up for grabs.

"After the third one leaves, you wonder where do the votes go from that third contestant," Paula Abdul said backstage after Tuesday's singing showdown.

Allen seemed the likely candidate for those viewers' affections, for on- and offstage reasons. Allen and Gokey, 29, of Milwaukee, were downright conservative when compared to Lambert's elaborate staging and wardrobe choices. Allen is a married college student and has worked as a church worship leader. Gokey, a widower, is a church music director.

Lambert, 27, of Los Angeles, brought measured rock flashiness — daring, not freaky — with songs including "Whole Lotta Love," the first-ever Led Zeppelin tune on "Idol." He's largely kept his personal life under wraps, saying "I know who I am" when asked about it.

Earlier this week, Allen said he hoped the outcome wouldn't be decided by "having the Christian vote."

"I hope it has to do with your talent and the performance that you give and the package that you have. It's not about religion and all that kind of stuff," he said.

Added Lambert: "It's about music. That's really important to keep in mind."

The finale Wednesday included the usual bag of tricks for extending the show to two hours and delaying the result until the final minutes. There were group numbers, the Golden Idol Award — semifinalist funnyman Nick "Norman Gentle" Mitchell among the contenders — and celebrity-contestant combos.

Allen was joined by Keith Urban on "Kiss a Girl," while Lambert performed with Kiss. The female finalists, including Allison Iraheta, opened up for Fergie, who sang "Big Girls Don't Cry" and then was joined by her group, the Black Eyed Peas.

Iraheta later dueted with Cyndi Lauper on "Time After Time" and Danny Gokey joined Lionel Richie for two tunes.

Rod Stewart sang "Maggie May" after the male finalists opened for him with "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy."

An offbeat guest was Steve Martin, the actor-comedian who also specializes in the banjo. He played his song "Pretty Flowers" with finalists Megan Joy and Michael Sarver on vocals.

Asked by Seacrest to guess who might win "American Idol," Martin replied: "I know it's a long shot, but I'm hoping I do."

Allen rose to the occasion during Tuesday's performance show, especially with his soulful version of "Ain't No Sunshine." But he was tripped up by "No Boundaries," a song co-written by judge Kara DioGuardi and ill-suited to his voice.

Lambert did a better job with "No Boundaries" and excelled on his reprise of "Mad World" and on "A Change is Gonna Come."

"That was the best I've ever heard you sing — ever!" exclaimed Abdul. - AP

who will be the next American IDOL? season 8

American Idol Seasonnnnnn….

Naging 9, 8, 7 , 6…

Hanggang sa maging apat ang natira.

Adam Lambert

Allison Iraheta

Danny Gokey

Kris Allen

At natanggal si Allison at

Kagabi natanggal si Danny…

Ngayon…matira matibay na talaga…

Who will be the next American Idol?

Kris Allen or Adam Lambert?

Personal choice ko:

Kris Allen.

Traffic saved my day?

-KABANATA 1-

Monday.

Leave ako.

Kaya tomorrow pa ako pasok.

Gaya ng dati, night before ako balik ng Cavite,

hinahanda ko na gamit ko, para kinabukasan, ready to go na ako.

Gaya ng dati, nag-alarm ako ng 3:00am at 3:01am at minsan may 3:02am pa…para sure na magigising ako…hehe

12midnight na rin ata ako nakatulog.

Nanuod pa ng TV.

(…Comment lang ako sa Korean F4. Yung new Asianovela sa kapamilya station.

Nice at kakatuwa.

Bumaba.

Nagmamadali.

Tumatakbo.

Lumilipad.

Ayan na malapit na ako.

Andyan pa kaya ang service?...

NAKU!!!... Wala na!!!

Malelate na ata talaga ako…

-KABANATA 3-

Nag-isip.

Teka.

May isa pa akong pag-asa.

Buti nalang umalis agad.

Nakatigil. At hinihintay ako.

Wala parin.

Lakad ng matulin.

Mukhang wala na ata.

Malelate na talaga ako.

Late na.

Gutom na.

Puyat na.

Pagod pa.

Saan ka pa.

-KABANATA 4-

Sandali lang.

Ano tong nakikita ko.

Yes!!! Parang iyun iyung shuttle ah.

Sana iyon nga.

Lalo kong binilisan.

Tumakbo.

At tumakbo.

Nakita ko plate number.

Yehey!...

Akalain mo iyon?...

Yehey!

-THE END-

P.S.

2. Dahil sa traffic may binabasa ka ngayon…

3. Dahil sa traffic _____ ang araw mo.
a. nasira

b. nagulo

c. nasayang

d. all of the above

Everyday is mother’s day

Ina, nay, nani, nanay, ima, ma, mama, mommy, mamita, mamu, mother, mudra, ermat,

Bakit?

Walang dayoff. Walang hinto. Walang time-out. Walang pahinga. Walang sweldo. Walang kapalit. Laging overtime. 24x7. 7 days a week. 365.242199 days a year. (O eksakto pa yan..hehe).

In short for Lifetime yan. Galing nila no?...

Tama ba?

Kids Points of view about Marriage

Kids are just kids!...

Think twice…

HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY? (written by
kids)
(1) You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like
sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips
and dip coming.
- Alan, age 10
(2) No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry.
God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck
with.
- Kristen, age 10

(wow! Impressive…[^^,])

WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?
(1) Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then.
- Camille, age 10
(2) No age is good to get married at. You got to be a fool to get married.
- Freddie, age 6

(very wise for their age..haha [^^,])

HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF TWO PEOPLE ARE MARRIED?
(1) You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the
same kids.
- Derrick, age 8

(I agree with the kid!...hehe [^^,])

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MOM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON?
(1) Both don't want any more kids.
- Lori, age 8

(ok…[^^,])

WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE?
(1) Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know
each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough.
- Lynnette, age 8
(2) On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that Usually gets
them interested enough to go for a second date.
- Martin, age 10 I

(true!...they really have a point, right?…[^^,])

WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A FIRST DATE THAT WAS TURNING SOUR?
(1) I'd run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers
and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns.
-Craig, age 9

(exaggerated but funny……haha[^^,])

WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE?
(1) When they're rich.
- Pam, age 7

(2) The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that.
- Curt, age 7

(Good Point… good citizen huh?!…haha…[^^,])

(3 ) The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them
and have kids with them. It's the right thing to do.
- Howard, age 8

(Rule made by an 8 year old kid?…wow!...[^^,] )

IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED?
It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean
up after them.
- Anita, age 9

(no comment…hehe [^^,])

HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN'T GET MARRIED?
(1 ) There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn't there?
- Kelvin, age 8
(hmmm…hehe [^^,])

HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK?
(1 ) Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a truck.
- Ricky, age 10

(Funny…The boy already understands… [^^,])

Kids are not just kids, they really have a point.

Simple but deep.
